I am now seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a large firm of PQS in Southampton, Hampshire to work as a Project Surveyor.
You will need to have around two years or more post graduation experience and either be working towards becoming chartered or recently chartered with the RICS.
You will work on projects ranging in value from £5m to £200m.

You must have been working for a firm of PQS or multi disciplinary consultants and have good pre and post contract experience.

I am now seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who has around two years or more experience post graduation or who worked throughout your degree and is almost chartered or someone who is recently chartered to work as a Project Surveyor.
You should have worked on projects across the whole project life cycle.
You will work as part of a their Abingdon, Oxfordshire office on projects of high value from £5m to £200m.
You will need to have a good Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar and you must have worked for another firm of private practice quantity surveyors or multi disciplinary consultants.
You will be involved in both Pre and Post Contract duties on a number of projects including cost planning, tendering, site valuations, cost reporting, cost management, value management and agreement of final accounts etc.
Knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract.
Ideally you will have worked on a range of projects previously.
It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will deal directly with clients.
Salary is likely to be in the region of £40000 to £55000 plus pension contribution and RICS fees plus good pension contribution, private health insurance and other benefits.
